SSS Imposes Mandatory Online Transactions and Checkless Disbursements

Don’t have the time to go to SSS to process your transactions?  Or you are not  comfortable going through a long queue just to apply for an SSS number?

Fret no more.  Now, you can make your SSS transactions in the comfort of your home or office.

The state-run pension fund Social Security System (SSS) imposes mandatory implementation of online transactions such as application for salary or calamity loans, to provide its members and claimants with faster, safer, more convenient and economical means of completing their transactions with the agency.

This new SSS circular is in compliance with the Ease in Doing Business and Efficient Government Services Delivery Act of 2018, which mandates all government offices and agencies to provide services with simplified procedure that will lessen red tape and expedite government transactions.
